Item #074

One Enchodus tooth displayed in an acrylic case.

Enchodus, also called the 'Sabertooth of the Sea' was a fearsome predator that lived 85 to 40 million years ago, from the Late Cretaceous to Early Paleogene periods. Its elongated fangs, sometimes reaching six inches, made it a formidable hunter. Specialized for impaling prey, these fangs reveal the creature’s evolutionary mastery in marine predation.

Nice Fossil

Fast delivery, smaller than I thought but I'm sure this big boy lost a lot of baby teeth. Got this as a gift for my nephew for Christmas. He's really into dinos and I thought this was a cook piece of history for him to hold. Will def shop here again.

From the Deep

I'm hoping to use this fang to inspire wonder in children and adults, and StemCell has the goods to make it happen for a reasonable price! ♡

WE TAKE SCIENCE SERIOUSLY

You deserve better than craft store science products. And we think learning is more impactful when you're holding a tangible piece of what you're learning about. That's why Stemcell exists.
