Most Acrocanthosaurus specimens have been found throughout Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming. It grew up to 38 ft (11.5 m) long from snout to tail tip and weighed over 6 tons fully-grown. Its long, narrow skull was over 4 ft (1.3 m) in length. It was likely an apex predator of its territory.
